For over 15 years, Forest Grove Soap Companies founder Sarah Rapport has been making all natural, vegetable oil soaps and skin care products from her home in Oregon.

In the beginning:
When Sarah first started making soaps, it was a hobby. She would make small one pound batches and give them as gifts as well as use them herself. Before she knew it, family and friends wanted more and more. Soon she had soap all over and had her husband building soap racks, boxes and then came her first website. Over 15 years later, she is making her soaps in 15 pound batches. As the demand for her soaps grew, Sarah remained true to using high quality ingredients. Sarah's passion for soapmaking continues after all of these years. She says there is nothing like having customers who refuse to buy any other soap. The pride she takes in helping people deal with their skin issues is priceless. She now offers a full line of skin care products including Pine Tar Soap and a Healing Skin Salve.About our soaps and skin care products:
Our soaps and skin care products contain no synthetic ingredients and no perfumes or artificial colorants. The subtle colors are derived from natural spices and botanicals. We only use pure essential oils to scent our natural soaps and skin care products. We let our soaps cure for 4 weeks to ensure a long lasting, hard bar of soap. We are proud members of the Handcrafted Soapmakers Guild and follow their code of ethics.
